THE ADVANCED TECHNICIAN’S CERTIFICATE (BTS) IN COMMUNICATION, A TWO-YEAR COURSE

The Advanced Technician’s Certificate (BTS) in Communication is a two-year course that meets the expectations of companies and the evolution of techniques and professions in Business Communication.
This programme combines internships, work experience in production workshops, reinforced teaching of new technologies, web communication and new media, and more.
The training is validated by a state-recognised degree: the Advanced Technician’s Certificate (BTS) in Communication.
Training at ISCOM means immersing yourself in the world of communication and benefiting from the Careers and Employment Centre at ISCOM which is here to assist each student in their search for an internship. The programme also provides entry to 5-year courses.

ASSESSMENT OF KNOWLEDGE
INITIALLY: A 14-WEEK INTERNSHIP
In addition to first-hand experience of professional environments, students have 14 weeks of compulsory internship in a company over the two years of the course.
Timing of internships in Paris:
First year: 1 week in March and 8 weeks from May
Second year 6 weeks from November
Timing of internships in Montpellier:
3 to 4 weeks between mid-February and mid-March
6 weeks from the beginning of June
6 weeks from the beginning of November
ENROLLING AT ISCOM
Admission is open through an entrance exam, to those having completed the high school Baccalaureate or one further year of higher education.
The initial BTS is taught in Paris and Montpellier.
WHAT TO DO AFTER A BTS?
Students can join one of the third-year specialisations of the Graduate School (Grande Ecole) Programme in order to continue their training and move into Digital, Marketing, Event Management, Political Communication, etc. Continuing your studies at ISCOM will give you access to ISCOM's RNCP Level 6 and 7 certifications.
