ISCOM’s “grande ecole” program provides its students with significant intercultural management skills and communications strategy expertise.
Presentation of the curriculum
The first two years are dedicated to universal, core subjects and instruction. From the 3rd year on, students declare one of four majors: PR, Press Relations, and Events Management (REP); Advertising and Marketing Communications (MKP); Corporate and Branding Communications (COMAL); and Digital Communications (ISCOM Digital).
The curriculum includes mandatory, full-time internships every year, in France or abroad.
ISCOM also offers fifth-year programs specializing in
- Communications and Marketing: Emerging Trends and Innovation (MMI)
- Events Strategy and Management (EVENT)
- Digital Communications (CCN)
These work-study programs include 4 days a week in a professional role in indsutry, and 1 day per week at ISCOM. Upon graduation, the students are prepared to implement a communications strategy, and work efficiently, in industry.
The 4 majors
REP: PR, Press Relations, and Events Management
REP focuses on public relations for brands. Students learn how to manage public perception and to leverage promotional strategies.
MKP: Advertising and Marketing Communications
MKP combines creative and marketing skills while focusing on relationships with the client. By addressing services marketing and strategic planning, students learn to create original advertising campaigns.
COMAL: Corporate and Brand Communications
COMAL prepares students to work in communications departments. COMAL produces flexible, multifaceted graduates, prepared to practice their skills in brand strategy, in internal and/or external communications.
ISCOM Digital : Digital Communications
ISCOM Digital focuses on multimedia communications through online writing, multi-channel communications strategies, and online project management.
3 fifth year work-study programs
To adapt to the Bologna process, ISCOM has developed 5th year, Masters-equivalent, programs. These programs are open to both professionals and recent graduates. Prerequisites for admission: a valid, state-certified 4th year degree.
The work-study program (4 days within a company, 1 day at ISCOM) provides the students with invaluable experience. The three programs are CCN, MMI and EVENT.
CCN: Digital Communications
CCN focuses on the stakes of digital communications and their integration into communication strategies.
MMI: Brand and Innovation Management
MMI prepares students to adapt communications methods in light of emerging trends in research and development, information technology, technological monitoring, and strategic planning.
EVENT: Events Strategy and Management
EVENT prepares students to conceptualize and organize events by proposing relevant strategies for brands to clients.
1 fifth year standard program
ISCOM has created a one-year course for graduates holding degrees in Law, Sciences, Humanities, Engineering, Computer Sciences, or Languages, who aim to obtain a double degree in Communications and Marketing. This one year-course includes a six-month internship.
