Advertising sales manager

Responsible for promotion and sale of advertising space for a given media outlet.  A sales and marketing representative who relies on market research and statistics.

 

Media planner

With audience targets in mind, studies and recommends the most appropriate media outlets to promote a product, in order to ensure the highest impact for the campaign.

 

Advertising manager

Researches and builds the sales and media solution most suited to the client.  Collects market data and transmits it to the Research department.

 

Advertising sales director

Responsible for project and market research presentation, recommendation development and big budget "clients".

 

Market research manager

Mainly combines information and reliable data to help build a recommendation.  Follows market trends, and develops research tools and the arguments necessary to optimise advertising sales.

 

Project/product manager

Participates in the development of the marketing message of the advertising sales department, and proposes potential "marketing" of the product (competitor research, pricing policy, communications policy, etc).

 

Scheduling/planning manager

Organises the media schedule of the campaigns, optimises sales and space reservations.

 

Traffic manager

Receives and validates the technical elements and materials.  Communicates with the account reps and with the advertiser.
